• Further benefits include entry into amazing prize draws
• WRC Promoter confirms multi-year agreement with Nano Nino
• Nano Nino becomes next Official Supplier to WRC
• WRC to launch fan card and payment card with Spanish company

Munich, 9 August 2018 – WRC fans can enjoy a host of big money discounts and exciting benefits following the launch of an exclusive membership scheme with Spanish company Nano Nino.

The ‘WRC P1’ scheme provides members with a promotional WRC fan card and the opportunity to apply for a pre-paid credit card.

The scheme has been born following confirmation of a multi-year agreement between WRC Promoter and Nano Nino to become the next official supplier to the FIA World Rally Championship.

Ownership of both cards, which carry the distinctive WRC logo, offers big savings when purchasing items with selected championship partners and official WRC outlets.

These include the WRC shop at https://shop.wrc.com/ and the WRC+ platform at https://plus.wrc.com/en/, which hosts the highly successful All Live TV programme from every championship round.

The pre-paid credit card will become available in mid-September. It will allow users to load cash onto a card, which can be used in shops and restaurants like a regular debit or credit card up to the value of money pre-loaded. They are accepted by most retailers.

Members joining the WRC P1 family will be entered into exclusive prize draws, the highlight of which is a trip for two people to the final round of the 2018 season at November’s Kennards Hire Rally Australia. The prize includes tickets for the invitation-only end-of-year WRC Gala in Sydney after the rally.

Other exciting money-can’t-buy draws will include a WRC passenger ride at a round of the 2019 championship.

Fans can apply for membership of the scheme at the WRC P1 website at http://P1.wrc.com and applications will also be available shortly via the WRC app.

It costs 60 euros, which includes six months free access to the top level WRC+ package, featuring WRC All Live, worth 54 euros. The six-month free period can be activated whenever the user chooses.

Nano Nino founder Manna Justin said the partnership with WRC brings a great opportunity for the technology company to reach a global audience through WRC fans.

“We intend to use our core technology areas such as Fintech, Cloud Mobile, AI and Big Data to engage and enhance the fan experience.

“Having been a lifelong rally fan, this collaboration is exciting on a personal level as well as it takes me closer to the action in one of the finest, purest and most extreme forms of motorsport.

“Most sponsors and suppliers to the WRC have confirmed their participation in the savings scheme which will bring the WRC’s partners even closer to the championship’s huge and loyal fan base,” he added.
