In treacherous conditions, six drivers at the wheel of a ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 evo scored WRC2 championship points at Rally Croatia. Best-placed ŠKODA crew was the Polish duo Kajetan Kajetanowicz/Maciej Szczepaniak in second position in the category. As planned, the third round of the FIA World Rally Championship was not part of Andreas Mikkelsen’s program. After winning the category in Monte-Carlo and Sweden, the reigning WRC2 Champion from Norway and driver of a ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 evo nevertheless still leads the overall standings.
Kajetan Kajetanowicz/Maciej Szczepaniak from Poland drove the Team ORLEN ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 evo to second position in WRC2.
Reigning Finnish Rally Champions Emil Lindholm/Reeta Hämäläinen of ŠKODA Motorsport supported Team Toksport WRT scored three WRC2 stage wins on his way to third place of the category.
Briton Chris Ingram, who became FIA European Rally Champion in 2019 at the wheel of a ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 evo, and new co-driver Craig Drew reached the finish fifth in WRC2.
Miko Marczyk (POL) and co-driver Szymon Gospodarczyk (POL) brought their ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 evo home in ninth WRC2 position.
ŠKODA FABIA Rally2 evo crew Armin Kremer and Timo Gottschalk from Germany won the WRC2 Masters class for drivers 50 years and older.
