EXCITEMENT BUILDS FOR THE 2025 RALLY OF THE VOYAGEURS

Rally of the Voyageurs Returns to Ontario’s Gravel Roads

Catchacoma, Ontario – Rally fans are in for a treat as the 2025 Rally of the Voyageurs makes its long-awaited return to the Ontario motorsport scene. Organized by the Kitchener Waterloo Rally Club, this year’s event will mark the first gravel rally since 2017, bringing 70 kilometers of high-speed action to the province’s rugged backroads.

Taking place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, the rally serves as the second round of both the Ontario Performance Rally Championship (OPRC) and the Eastern Canadian Rally Championship (ECRC). Some of Canada’s top rally teams are expected to compete, tackling the demanding gravel stages in pursuit of championship points.

Supported by Novus Auto Group, the event highlights the growing enthusiasm for rally racing in Canada.

The Heart of the Action: Rally Headquarters

All rally operations will be based at the Cavendish Community Centre in Catchacoma, Ontario. This location will serve as the main hub for competitor registration, technical inspections, rally start and finish, service, refueling, and the awards podium. The official notice board will be available inside the Rally Headquarters for participants.

Rally Day Schedule – Saturday, April 5, 2025

  • 7:00 AM – Competitor Registration & Technical Inspection
  • 7:30 AM – Recce (Route Reconnaissance)
  • 11:20 AM – Introduction of Officials & Competitor Meeting
  • 12:01 PM – First Car Out (MTC 1)
  • 5:00 PM – First Car Finish (MTC 2)
  • 6:00 PM – Podium & Awards Ceremony
  • 5:00-7:00 PM – Dinner
