Neuville heads a host of WRC stars at the Monza Rally Show paying tribute to Pirelli. The newly crowned world champion will be putting on a show at the Temple of Speed from 6 to 8 December, along with Ogier, Rovanpera, Sordo, Formaux, Latvala and WRC2 champion Pajari.
Rally fans will be able to get a first-hand view of the two newly crowned world champions Thierry Neuville (WRC) e Sami Pajari (WRC2) from 6 to 8 December 2024 at the Monza Rally Show. The Belgian and the Finn will be among the stars of the weekend at the wheel of the Hyundai i20 N Rally1 Hybrid and Toyota GR Yaris respectively. Also taking part will be France’s Sebastian Ogier, driving the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrid that took the constructors’ crown.
Today, Pirelli and the WRC teams have announced the names of the drivers that will be at the Monza circuit to celebrate the Milanese company’s four years as sole supplier to the world championship. The list of famous names includes Spain’s Dani Sordo, also with Hyundai, France’s Adrien Formaux, at the wheel of a Ford Puma Rally1 Hybrid, Finland’s two-time world champion Kalle Rovanpera, the youngest ever driver to take the title at the age of 22 years and one day back in 2022. On this special occasion, Toyota Gazoo Team Principal Jari-Matti Latvala will dig out his race suit and overalls.
The WRC drivers will take turns over the three days to tackle the Monza Rally Show course with guests in the passenger seat. Then, on Sunday, Neuville, Ogier, (Pajari in a Rally2 car), Sordo and Formaux will compete in the Masters’ Show on the main straight.
The Monza Rally Show gets underway on Friday 6 December with the shakedown. The programme features 9 special stages, covering a total of 154.38 timed kilometres.
